As some of you now know we received most of our funding, so here is what we are going to get and do with it.

  • Wireless internet connection
    • Might be a fee week as we have a lot of red tape to cut through on this one but we will get there in the end.
  • Steam Licence
    • We like the steam licence so much we are applying for another year of cheap game godness.
  • Graphics Cards
    • 7 of the computers have what is now sub standard cards for what we want to do with them so we are upgrading them. Members will be able to purchase the old cards for €15.
  • Hard Drives
    • 4 of the computers have 80GB drives in them and space is getting tight, we are upgrading them to 500GB drives and using the 80GB drives for NAS.
  • Keyboards
    • 10 new keyboards enough said.
  • Mice
    • 10 new mice
  • Poster Holder frames
    • Taping posters to the walls looks horrible and doesn't last so were getting proper frames.
This year we need to make some money to keep the upgrades flowing so we will be selling compsoc T-shirts for €10 with the new compsoc logo on them.
We will also be selling custom compsoc PC's for €370, they are not exactly gaming spec but if you get one of the €15 GFX cards they will be.
We have a few people working on prizes for the tournaments, the prizes will range from useful to funny :)
